I have a problem with my s900, when sampling into it, for the first 5 or so seconds the sound is fine and clear, but if i exceed that then the sample starts distorting heavily. I've loaded up long samples that were saved before this happened and it's doing that to them too, which leads me to think it's not a saving/loading problem, but rather a playback problem? has this happened to anyone else?

You have corrupt on-board memory so once you start to use that range of memory the samples that reside there will distort.
You can either reduce how much you sample into it to stay below that margin or have the memory replaced/repaired by a tech.
With the price of S-900's being as cheap as they are repair doesn't seem very logical.

I have a s900 that does not have a floppy drive for sale for 100 plus shipping, Located in LA area. No problems with memory.
