Question about cutoff option on the MPC3000

Does the MPC3000 only allow for 2 cutoffs on each pad?

Can I take 6 pads and put them on Output 1 of the MPC Outs and have them in mono where they all cutoff each other when pressed?

I think this is the way that it works on the S950 and I know it works like this on the SP-1200.

Is the same true with the 3000?

The 3000 has better outputs (poly i geus) assign 6 samples to 1 output will not work.

This is just a theory and it might not even be possible but it might help. Does the 3000 allow velocity layering/stacking? If so you should try doing it like that. I also read somewhere about how you could route the pads to cut each-other off simulating something like the "mute group" feature. Do a search.
