Just installed the SCSI mod for my 60(I). Everything is real simple if you follow the instructions, and everything is real simple IF YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. (Sorry, just wanted to emphasize that.)
One tricky bit, though, is installing the new SCSI connector to the back of the MPC. It's pretty cramped quarters around there, and getting the nuts on the bolts that hold the connector in is a pain in the nuts for me and my fat fingers. So what I did was make a "gum wrench". I took a bit of double-stick foam-core tape, stuck it on the end of a nut driver, stuck the nut flat on the tape, and with that I was able to get the nut threaded onto the bolt.
Once on, you'll probably want to hit those nuts with a dab of loc-tite or, if you don't have any loc-tite, some nail polish borrowed from your wife/girlfriend/transvestite lover.
