mpc3000 os 3.11

can anyone help me with getting os 3.11 for mpc 3000
I tried downloading it from akai page but it did not work.
can somebody hook me up or tell me step by step
on how to do this??

Which instructions did you use?

I use the info from the akai web page.
I downloaded it ok but getting it to work on the mpc ??
i formated a disk in the mpc then i put the files for the 3.11
on that disk when load it in the mpc i see the files but the new os won't load up.

You might have to change the chips inside your 3000

What is the exising OS in the MPC? If 3.08 or older it will not boot from floppy.

My 3000 is 3.08 and loads 3.11 fine from disk.
