Copying Bars Question

Yo

When i create two extra bars so i have 4, and copy bars 1+2 into 3+4, every change i make to 3+4 happens in 1+2 also.
Anyway to get around this or should i create a new sequence instead? that would really suck...

What mpc ya talking about, this doesnt happen to me on my 60.

It shouldnt work that way. How are you copying the bars.

I'm referring to the 3k.

I add bars to the current sequence and then copy the content of the original bars to the ones i have just created.

Ah that's not normal nor should that even be possible.

So, what should i do if i want to copy bars 1+2 further into the sequence? i don't understand...

in the copy bars screen set your Begin at to 3
and End at 4
if you dont change these figures it will copy to bars 1-4

check the main screen, its probably not looping back to bar 1 - so you're only hearing 2 bars, making you think its changing all 4.

yeah thats the first thing to check
the loop point in the 3ooo doesnt revert back to 1 automatically once u insert/copy bars

I'm aware of the mpc not looping back to bar 1, i'll check it out anyway next time i'm not stoned
