Just a reminder that entries should be in mp3 format, 192 kps quality, not WAVs!

I usually sample strictly from vinyl... but no rule without exception and the sample is fun, so count me in!

as a work around, i keep a casette deck around and will record CD tracks or mp3's to tape, then record the tape into my mpc or logic. just to dirty the sound up.

I happened to have the original LP. But thank you for uploading this song, I haven't dropped a needle on this vinyl for long, long time.
I'd recommend to get the better "copy", and it doesn't even have to be vinyl. iTunes sells it too for mere 99 cents (even the 90 second preview sounds better than the MP3), as this low quality MP3 file doesn't do justice (I think the low quality MP3 is intentional.) They are dope group!

Just submitted my entry — a funky little beat that I whipped up today.
That was fun.

I'm gonna hand in mine tomorrow, just want to add some vocal samples.

So this was an mp3? I didn't know, it sounded so buttery smooth when I sampled it into my MPC500 and **** rocks now that I flipped them in Hip Hop form.

you can resubmit, just make it clear in the email thats its being REsubmitted
