Nu kid on the block here! =) Just got myself my first MPC and have had a lot of help looking thru this forum. I like the whole idea of these beat battles so I'm entering mostly for fun and to learn the process even tighter.

there's is no rules homeslice.

You have to use the sample, and it should be one of (if not the...) lead sound in your beat.

Other than that, I don't mind what extras, genre, instruments, cuts etc

djerratic - I had three tracks from you uploaded simultaneously to the group, none of them had the battle number in the title, so that's why you were blocked - we're getting more and more 'non-battle' beats appearing there, so if you want to submit an entry to the current battle you need to submit one only, and with the relevant battle number in the title, otherwise it gets flagged as spam.

I've unblocked you - if you want to submit that beat, please rename it

it was sampled in this song but i think it's only known in France

Shout out to the Beat Battle section. I was gonna do a track for this weeks contest but I went into a totally different direction with the sample. I ended up only using a 1 second clip to place on top of my snare so...I disqualified myself. But this right here....
