2) Upload the beat to your own soundcloud page - please make it downloadable
3) Make sure it includes the battle number in the title - i.e. BB#14. If it doesn't we might think it's a random spam beat and delete it
4) Share the beat with the forum group via the 'share to group' button

no outside drums, bass, or synths

beats should run under 90 seconds

beats due sunday 2/3/13 midnight, eastern time

winner will be decided on tuesday 2/5/13

Copywrite protected track, try changing it to a wav renaming it and then repost it. Otherwise pick antother one.

****** read my mind,I was gonna pick a mahavishnu sample(had I won).Not this song though.They gotta a couple of joints.Blahzay Blah sampled them in the intro of their debut album.Pharell used a melody from them in that joint "come close" featuring Common.
