quickstrike - dope kik bru. really dug the hook.

sick drumkid - i actually really dug your track. but you have placed drums in far rear with the reverb. and the over all sonic was way low. dug the style though.

chrisperrin - pretty dope man came real different i would have voted for this track the hook was so sick. i didnt feel the verse as much though.

saxmob - nice and smooth.

publicdomain - another smooth track. but there was a metalic ring in the snare...

sova - your tracks get better every time. this is a sick track. real good job.

obi - i dig your style man. just to busy for me

labspecialist - with some outside drums this track could bang. laid back. (good drums just not much to work with.)

selfinflict - :hmmm: the twenty seconds you chose to freak the beat was real fresh. with the rules saying "beats should run under 90 seconds" you should have kept you track smaller. then it wouldn't have been a redundant 2.5 mins of a 2 bar loop.

tre - another banger. props {vote}

good work all. i hope to have time this week to scrimmage with you kats. {to kick yallls ass :-D }been on some personal project time lately. peace

LOL@ drum "kid" My son is 19,and probably bigger and taller than most of y`all.LOL

Thanks for listening,I decided to just do me this time around and not sweat the competition aspect.I slammed down 3 tall cans and got busy.It took about 13 takes because I was faded.I will return to form next time....maybe.I like the freedom of my "drunken style"

actually it wasnt a 2 bar loop, and i didnt even freak the beat for that brake homie.. i got that drum loop from the sample, chopped out 2 horn stabs and made sure to get em intime with the drum loop and hit pads through the whole beat, the horn stabs i had to hit right on time cause u will notice the very first one i didnt and u can hear the drums kinda flange where they are off.. the break in the song where i "freaked it" was just me letting the samples play out, not hitting the pads for a few sec then bringing it back..all done on my mpc500 and not even tracked into a DAW i just resampled my mains and didnt use the mpcs sequencer...thank you for ur feedback!!! feedback is always welcome :-D

:smoker: Looks to me a lot of you did not follow the rules. I thought there was a 90 sec limit and no out side drums hint hint. Come on if y'all can't follow the rules then why have them.

Quickstrike don't sweat it mayne, the battle has been a mees for a little while you should notice a difference on the next one, Rules are just made so the ignorant understand how to behave socially in the grand scheme, I swear one more person brings the time limit in I will make a 15 min loop at 2.5kh :lol:

I've gone for quick strike sick composition, good work with the samples, and he didn't use outside drums, I personally think, if your going to set requirements, then vote for the guy that went by them, at least, you know the work they put in, to sound different, and a good beat at the same time, time lengths are not important. But this no outside anything, and the guy that wins uses synths and a sample pack of pre made drums ( I know I'm over elaborating but I'm trying to get a point over). No One going to mention Chris Perrins beat, it's awsome, it smashes mine to pieces but I got 2 votes :hmmm: cheerz boyz by the way, I know people have different taste I really respect that, but this is coming over like bloody Pop Idol, the voting makes as much sense as a chocolate tea pot in the middle of a desert.

if everybody would follow the rules then there wouldnt be any discussion about this :-D
Isnt it the challenge to follow the rules and come up with something dope?

My point is and no offense you have just done it also :lol: TIME seems to be a major issue, You've highlighted the build up to what was important, the voting according to the rules, and you missed out my chocolate teapot line.
