MPC BB#28 - Balkan shit

Deadline for entries is Weds 20th February 6PM EST - 11pm GMT.

1) Join the MPC-Forums.com Beat Battles Group: http://soundcloud.com/groups/mpc-forums ... t-battles/
2) Upload the beat to your own soundcloud page - please make it downloadable
3) Make sure it includes the battle number in the title - i.e. BB#14. If it doesn't we might think it's a random spam beat and delete it
4) Share the beat with the forum group via the 'share to group' button

You can go crazy and layer a ton of chops from all three.This is some Balkan shit and i think it will sound a lot different and make it more interesting.

-70 sec running limit
-OUTSIDE DRUMS/PERCUSSION OK
-OUTSIDE SYNTHS NOT ALLOWED
-OUTSIDE BASS NOT ALLOWED
-Short vocal samples OK
-Scratches OK

Gonna take a mathematical approach this time. Tomorrow probably look for drums. Nice change of pace with the ethnic samples.

Let me see how good the samples are ha ha!! if they are cool then 2 weeks, be good to get back to posting on a Sunday, flows better with the other battles that are about.

Finally a drum break, Sova well done Holmes, now these are tunes to sample from I might make a 15 min track out of all this, then you can all pick the 70'secs you like the best ha ha!!

I used outside drums and bass.

damn..... these samples are just the absolute opposite of the samples that I am usually willing and able to flip...... but yo, nothin's as good as flippin something I aint comfortable with to practice myself , so count me in !

But 2 weeks would be really appreciate to make something (listinable) out of this.
