Heres my effort i used the 1st set of samples...didnt check the 2nd one cos I had this laid out already...fir the record I wouldnt normally sample a hip hop record but that was the challenge this time so fuggit

well this was a challenge. I think mattman had great intentions for samples. sounds like he ripped em off vinyl real quick for us and thats dope but they were pretty quite. and no low end on the kicks. at first glance i thought no way was i going to work the these samples. so i waited untill today after fishing and brought this. it was fun.

I used DJAY 2 (iOS app), to sample Electric Kingdom* and Andrae Crouch into the Octatrack. I used the guitar riff from one of the breaks.

I found Electric Kingdom difficult for material (the only part in mine, is the intro and later in the background... chopped vocal sounds like he's saying: "rock" w/ scratching).
