a quick microwave this week.

I was surprised to find how difficult this was to get what I wanted. My MPC dumped samples from my program again, but i put them back where i thought they were, and ended up with something alright. My timing is still off, but this a vast improvement over my first flip.

First time entering for this. Channeling my inner boom-bap, hip-hop self. LOL. Haven't done this type of sampling in a minute.

Assume these stay hidden until voting - see it has been shared with the group, but don't see it in the group yet. But for some reason, mine keeps showing that it hasn't been added to the group. Can someone confirm it is added?

Also see some folks are putting theirs in this thread... doesn't that defeat the purpose of a battle? Like I said, first time... well, either way, I'll add mine too.

people just post here with what they have done {not all} so they can get some plays,and just to drop. we still listen to them all on the weekend for the vote.

the vote poll will be more organized with all the tracks so you don't have to scroll threw the forum.

Tried to edit my post, couldn't, so adding a couple more notes here.

Meant to say, outside sounds added: drum break, clap, kick drum under the break, static, ride cymbal and cuts. Everything else is from the record. Bass line came from a few open bass notes, horns and vocals are obvious, high-pitch chord and chord hit came from other parts of the record - can't remember where.

Structured it more like a song than a battle beat.
