Sorry I don't know if it's because it's late and I'm tried but I've posted and deleted 3 times now because I can't get it to embed. I've managed no problems on the last few.

as far as I remember I just do [soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/user-191562169/mpc-bb352[soundcloud] don't I?

I've got 3 options,

'share' and then put the link in the middle of the 2 [soundcloud]

'share' and then shorten the link and then put it in the middle of the 2 [soundcloud]

or copy the link and put in the middle of the 2 [soundcloud]

I think I tried all 3, and non of them seem to embed.

You were close, all you need is to add a / to the closing tag. So open with [soundcloud] but end it with [/soundcloud]
