Contest Ideas?? Giving away a custom 1000 casing.

I need some ideas , I want to promote a new customizing
Company that I am launching , and have a custom
1000 casing that I'm working on.
I want to give it away but I need a contest idea.
Initially I was thinking a beat battle ,judged by forum
Members , and this contest will be exclusive to these forums
Only.
Hit me with ideas and if you would like to Judge.
And don't worry we will have a 2500 version of
This contest to follow.

what does the case look like?

This theme will match the stock buttons with a mostly
Black and charcoal grey, so it will match stock pads
So people don't have to get a matching set of pads
Or change much to get use of this casing.
As I finish this up , photos will follow so that people
Know what they are competing for.
Right now just trying to set up contest ideas.
That would really help
And again looking for Judges that can make
Non biased decisions.
I really want our forum community involved
As much as possible.
At this pointe just want to get ideas together
To see if there is even interest in something
Like this, I already see that people are viewing
But not a lot of input or replies
I will see what kind of ideas and replies we get
And that really will determine if we will
Proceed with this idea.
So if this is something 1000 users are interested in,
It's important to chime in and reply
Or I won't waste my time.

what you could do... just a suggestion. Instead of making it just for 1000 why not make it a competition for 1000 and 2500 users. Hold off on the printing of the unit and post the template for both the 1000 and 2500, then you wouldn't be limiting producers and yourself and would probably double your entries and views.

based on your previous post with the nice work you did on your 2500, im assuming you wanted to test your hand at the 1000 as well? thats why your doing the competition for it?

throw some simon can suck it t-shirts into the competition as well...

Just a idea instead of the winner of the 1000 and 2500 receiving a custom case that you made yourself. Why not make the prize that you will make a custom 1000 and 2500 that the winner of say at the moment a beat battle designs and you make it? Think you get more response to this idea.

Song should be done on an Mpc(any?)

One goes well , also on the
Art end of things , it is also a custom
Artwork that even if I didn't own
A 1000 , this casing is one of a kind
Artwork that would look just as sick
On your wall and hopefully one of many

i think a beat battle would work for something like this, ask tutor about it.

Beat battles. Is that the only way you guys think? Surely people here can use their brains for something other than the obvious. And not everyone makes dope beats, so would have little chance of winning.

How about a graphic design/logo/website competition or something directly related to dudes proposed new business???

Good Idea.

The beat battle idea makes the most sense,
Confident idividules using the machine that I'm customizing,
Have a chance to win a pretty cool casing , while I
Enjoy it being on sombody skilled in using mpc.
More chances for others to see it type thing.
It's NOT an artwork contest, this is for cats that actually
USE their machines.
And I wanna hear what people are creating.

If you really want to promote your custom work, a prolific youtube beat video poster wouldnt be a bad thing either. As opposed to someone making fire in their bedroom where nobodys ever gonna see your custom work.

Old cats like me, we dont do beat battles or youtube videos. Leave that to the youngers...
