adhesive floor pads like you would find on a dining room chair. They are round and super sticky. That should kill the gap.

Day 31-32 was spent building, wrapping, and mounting acoustic panels inside the booth. These came out looking great considering I stuffed 2" Roxul in a 1.5" frame to keep them as low profile as possible. For the backs of the panels I used some cheap muslin. For the fronts I used some good stuff made of cotton. It was slightly expensive. It's no acoustic suede by any means, but it's strong enough that I was able to wrap the fabric REALLY tight, even around the sharp edges and corners of the frame without the fabric ripping. Depending on how much room is left over once the mic is in, I may space the panels an inch or two off the wall. All in all, not bad at all for my first time building these things. I still have one small ceiling panel to make, but I ran out of 1x2.

Thanks. The floor is over concrete. My mother in law said carpet would possibly get moldy if ever the concrete got moisture on it. So I went with laminate. Not including the underlayment, this floor only cost me $50. And it was only that much because I had to buy a whole extra box just for two extra pieces. Gonna grab a small throw rug though.

Thanks man. Pound has definitely been a life saver through this shit. Also, YouTube is like the greatest thing man ever created. I've never done any of this shit before. So YouTube has been tutoring me through the majority of this shit. I've done most of this by myself as well, so that's why it's taken so long.
Anyway, I just did a test recording of the booth and it sounds great so far. But I only recorded myself talkin shit. So I need to get a rapper over here to do a song or a verse. Sounds nice and dead inside. And I havent even put anything on the door and floor yet!

No doubt. I got wooden floors as well and got a small rug and it really helped for foot steps and the reflection. PROPS on the excellent work. It really looks professional, like if I you didn't post this thread I'd think some professionals did it, honest shit.
