MPC1000/2500 X-Large LCD w/modified JJOS

My thoughts are that this goes far beyond the screen. There's something else happening here that is not apparent. There's no way that they would just toss a taller screen onto an MPC1000 and let it crop/stretch/or letterbox.

Either that or the aspect ratio is the same and I just can't tell.

Trust me guys , a lot of work has been done. It's not just a stretched screen. There will be an OS update needed. There is a reason we picked this larger screen, and you will see Monday

so many possibilities now! i'm picturing 2 screens of info being displayed simultaneously in 2 rows, or maybe a continuous 16 track view of the current sequence running along the bottom. hmmm... this could also mean that os 3 is right around the corner.

yeah... pretty soon it's hardly even gonna be an AKAI product anymore with all the 3rd party parts and OS and all.

this is seriously exciting, and a big surprise too... i've been quietly waiting for JJ3XL, and from nowhere comes this mod!

it looks AMAZING!!!

Good things come to those who wait.

As promised... This is the free OS (written by JJ) that will be provided with the screen to run the MPCstuff MPC1000XLCD and the MPC2500XLCD Large Screens. Some people had mentioned a possible "JJ OS3", I am not at liberty to give any info at this time in regards to a possible "JJ OS3". I do assure you all though, if and when JJ OS3 is released it will have support for the MPCstuff XLCDs Patience is a virtue.

At the end of the month (May) we will release a video showing all the screens and how they work.
