Dead Pads - 'free of charge' solution - working

Hi MPC users,
I want to share with working method for dead pads in mpc. Work fine with my 5k - had pads 9-16 with no response, after this operation pads are working like new.

I would like to know why it works after this procedure? How did someone think this up? Hopefully someone can give a technical explanation.

not sure but pads 9-12 started to malfunction in my 2500, notes get stuck...I heated them up with hair dryer which seemed to fix it for a minute but then came back...maybe has something to do with the adhesive they use in these

by cutting you equalize pressure in the sensor and, therefore, how it works

better check whether the MPC 2500 has the same sensors

I can confirm this worked on my 2500, but b careful n dont cut thru the little white line cuz it will kill the pad completely

De-greasing your sesnsor sheett can also bring some sensitivity back.
