ZIP Drive repair

Hi There,

Anyone might know where I could get a Iomega 250 ZIP drive fixed in the UK?
Just bought a NOS that was D.O.A - mint but doesn't power up.
Might there be an internal fuse inside?

is your Zip drive internal or external?

Ha! Yes totally can imagine 100% of repair technicians saying the same thing. It’s an external, based in London.
I thought maybe there might be a fringe person fixing these? after all they look pretty basic inside and look like someone who know how to fix model trains could manage it? No circuit boards just springs and drive mechanism.

have you tried another power supply? (keep an eye on the specs if you do!).
