Controlling S1000 filters with generic midi knobs

I was messing around with my spark controller and noticed that when I turned the knob of the encoders my s1000 was taking in the midi message. Is tere a way to assign the filter and resonance to each knob of my controller?

AFAIK the 1000 doesn't provide something like a modulation matrix were you could route the control messages from the conrtoller to the filter or elsewhere. So its not possible. I guess the modwheel controller is fixed to LFO for the usual vibrato effect.
