sup fam,
managed to get the disk image for o.s. 4 and got it working last night.
wanted to start a thread so i could debunk some myths regarding the o.s4 - or maybe be schooled, either way, post what you KNOW, not what you've READ......it seems the net is full of misconception regarding this unit.
OS4 does not add timestretch to your s900.
It does not add a low pass filter, its the same filter as before (im running 1.2 on startup)
It does give you auto locate start point.
It does give you the option to crossfade two samples together
It does give you full AHDR, think its for VCF
and some other controls.
Will try write it down tonight. Would be cool to see if anyone else is running OS 4.0 - would prefer replies from those that are using it or know first hand.
Peace
