s950 issues

Hey guys got issues with my beloved s950. Basically the record level is on full over load even tho theres no sound go into it, doesn't change when i turn the rec level down.

Also when i have loaded sounds of disk it not playing any sounds out of any outputs. Also can't hear the tone out of any outputs. in a nut shell no sound out of any of the outputs..

Thoughts ideas and heard of similar issues. Is it finally time to sell for spares and repair of can it be saved ?

I downloaded the service manual but it doesn't seem to included any info on total shot/diagnostics so i have draw a blank right now.

I have this problem only with the mix out becouse it is "over used" and i need to move the cable until it Works but its a different thing

i have the same issue with that 950 i bought from Jibber.
He told me that he used to give the machine a little push/punch until the level drops back to zero. this kind of "solution" made me think i could fix this easily because it sounded like a ground that was loose.

but i still havent found whats going on there, so i m planning to bring it to a service.

Update: i had the 950 for like 3 months with the service repair guy. last week i got it back: he didnt find the cause.
so i still have no clue why this happens.
does somebody else know about this?
