Anyone know any models that work in this?
I took the floppy drive out my Mpc2000 a couple of years ago and replaced it with one of those 15 quid Gotek emulators
But it they don't work in my S3000 and I have loads of disks with realy good synth sounds on
and the floppy drive is dead.

It lasted 20 years so I can't knock it
I've heard some Panasonic models work?
If anyone has any advice how to replace it without paying as much as I could buy a new sampler for i'd appreciate.
I love my S3000 its the most reliable piace of audio equipment I've ever owned, I don't need two just a floppy drive.

One.

Do you have the original S3000 drive? You may just need to set the jumpers on the drive correctly to get it to work.

The issue is finding older floppy drives that have the jumpers set and/or knowing which drives to modify to get them to run in sector specific modes.
