I assume this means Akai will be furiously designing the Ren Mk 2. Anyone remember people insisting that the Ren hardware was to be a 'constant' while only the software needed to be updated? 12 months later, it now seems inconceivable that Akai will stick with the current Ren hardware for much longer.
Still, let's see what it's like under the hood. But I'm definitely getting one.
Me too! Shipping the MPC Studio back to ZZounds, pre-ordering Maschine Studio.
Funny how things work out. Just about this time last year we were laughing at videos of dudes unwrapping the new Ren and throwing their Maschine in the trash can.
Somehow I don't think that will be the case with the new Maschine:)
