There's nothing to joke about.
He made something very bad as always and that's not acceptable for a CEO of a corporation.
Come on.
Do you realize that or not?

Dudes it’s corny but in no way do I think it’s antisemitic... I get what they were trying to say, to me it’s pathetic grade school stuff. Some of those reactions on twitter are insane,bro...

It was a bad joke, poor marketing and overall petty. Does it make behringer look bad, yes. Is a lot of the criticism of him warranted? No, not by any means.

Ok I stop it here for respect to mr.Randolph.

Not sure what make the marketing for them means. Companies must market and promote their own products. This on the other hand is something else.

He’s saying threads like this, all the fan support doing the heavy lifting for a multi-national... I get it but it would seem their marketing is a success to have this level of fan boyish, and now the anti-behringer types kicking it into over drive.

The outrage will spark more sales... plus the people complaining aren't going to buy the stuff anyway.

I just think that he made a very poor show, I think he always made a poor show but who cares?
People are happy for he makes clones of the synths of their dreams.
I can understand but it's really not a good news for me that this man is buying other brands and acting like a bad clown like he did.
I will never understand how can you defend this attitude. But I bypass.
Not for me, really.

I don't like how Peter Kirn's friends in the blogosphere are twisting this into some bullsh!t charge about Behringer using Anti-Semitic tropes.

That's a conveniently foul accusation to make, especially in these times. Chris Matthews got fired from MSNBC today for being a creepy old man to women and for calling Bernie Sanders supporters a Nazi, those are justified charges, this Anti-Semitic thing is spin because Peter Kirn was losing the overall argument.

Nothing is wrong with criticism, but what Peter Kirn was doing was harassment and bullying, to say the least.

Why are people coming down on Behringer for fighting back with humor?

A major corporation is not allowed to troll their accusers?

Why is it okay for the music tech press to slander and bemoan a corporation and it's CEO, but not okay for the CEO to clown his main adversary, a hack writer who himself admits that he would accept free Behringer synths. https://twitter.com/peterkirn/status/12 ... 5992624131

I don't blame Behringer for taking down the video, but I do blame the music tech media for trying to insult the intelligence of those of us who have been paying attention. Behringer doesn't advertise, because they don't have to like Roland, Akai, Korg, Native Instruments, and Yamaha have to. They know how to use social media to their advantage.

Behringer makes products that musicians want. When you do that, you don't have to spend marketing dollars on blogs who unfairly trash you for not buying their ad spots.

It all comes down to the money...

@ mr. Randolph

Of course you are right. A bit cynical maybe, but it works exactly as you say.
That's the strategy, you behave good or bad, it doesn't matter, you become a public character and people will support you, loving or hating you.
But we should also understand that there is a journalist involved in the story, mocked and attacked by the CEO of a corporation through the socials.
What the hell is that?
I don't see this as a good thing at all.

Well CEO’s in the age of social media show their azz a lot. I mean look at Elon, he’s a walking meme and really weird dude...

Can’t knock behringer for their marketing hustle, only point out flaws in stuff like this. People shouldn’t get all that worked up about this much less accuse someone of hating a whole race of people... FFS

I wonder how many people this outrage culture are holding back from artistic greatness. I mean I don’t think Dave Chappell, Eddie Murphy, Andrew Dice Clay, and George Carlin would be nearly as successful in this age. People losing your chit and dog whistling for every other social justice warrior to dog pile on, attack or boycott you.

I don't know, man. I don't wanna enter into the details, one will have a version, the other another version.
But for me that's too much. Acting like you don't give a **** about anything, and you are a CEO.
Come on.
Also he put private emails of another man on a forum, I don't wanna know why he made it, it's just a bad action.
If CEO or private manufacturers start to fight on forums, what the hell is that?
And also this thread looked more like a supporting more then a discussion about gears on a forum.
