not saying anything about the product or anything, but for someone who is real keen on telling people what software to use... you seem rather confused on what to use yourself.

I know for sure it's possible but at the moment I cannot recall the exact way to do it,....I do remember seeing it in the manual. :D

sweet, im about to get this.......minus that feature would be a deal breaker. what controller are you using? i'd imagine i could just midi up my mpc to my midi interface, but it would be nice to use the default mpd mapping templates..

BPM is super easy to midi your controller to.....I use my MPC so I get that pad feel but I also have my setup so I can use my midi keyboard also, this comes in handy when playing synth parts.

you rite dawg!....until Motu gives that thing AT LEAST all the features in Machfive V2's LOOPLAB, imma shut up giving advice.....i just didnt see that LP9 train comming! you gotta understand Apple snagged the VP of Avid and a top guy from A.I.R.! i saw them stealing SOME ideas but FLEX edit mp3s to EXS24 mkII, THEN VARISPEED a whole session amongst other thing is the NAIL IN THE COFFIN for many ANTI-Logic Pro heads.

but STILL dont take anymore advice from me cause i still need BPM on instrument track 1 in LP9(BPM busts ultrabeat's azz)!

i hope ROLAND gets off they azz and offer that V-Synth XT/Varios/Fantom type MV8000 with 8 motorized faders to shut everybody up.........or Akai offer the Andromeda/Fusion/Masterlink MPC! ............or Korg Put the OASIS in the PadKontrol!  ...........ooooor, or, or Yamaha brings back the RS7000 with the Motif XS brain.......now im gettin goofy! :P

rite now im eyballing this Virus TI2 Polar so i can sell both my mpk49 and my duet....so i can have a macbook pro 17, the keyboard and the mpd32. simple; if the TI/TI2 can do the AU/soundcard with no degradation or latency to the sound in LP9... perfect!

im done.

sorry for the flip flop. (dj rr, watoooopp!)

except for one thing... LP9 is only for apple computers... is it not? hate to say it, but the money is not made from studios and professional producers. it is made from the every day amatures, and what is the ratio of pc users to apple users. The way that apple could make the product a true nail in any coffin is by making it more accessible.

What I should do??

This is what I should do. And maybe others too, is making more beats instead of being concerned about what's the best/newest machine/software to make beats with.

That's what we should do

we are talking about apple computers and logic, not iphones. .. why would you even post a cellphone as a response.

"name a "PC" OEM that developes Pro Audio DAWs AND computers? AND has a STORE/TECH SUPPORT LOUNGE since that would be a fair comparison."

oh i see, a computer oem that also makes audio! what does this have to do with the fact that logic doesn't work on PCs? just because apple makes money from the computers aswell, doesn't mean its hammering any nails on any coffins.
oh, and open labs.. but again, what does that matter.

and so what, you can buy a macbook for 500 bucks. does that mean there are more apple users out there? that's like me telling you that microsoft is one of te biggest software developers for apple... both those things dont mean anything in this topic.

"Apple has 91% of market for $1,000+ PCs, says NPD" I didn't read that link, but 95% of computers are under $1000 so how many users are really a part of that 91%?

as for t-pain, and just blaze... I wouldn't waste my time on commenting those guys...

so since you completely misunderstood my post earlier it was this:

there are more PC owners then apple owners. logic is only for apple. that means there are more potential buyers who cant use logic then there are potential buyers who can.

you misunderstood me too! by saying "the NAIL IN THE COFFIN for many ANTI-Logic Pro heads." i meant the Pro Tools VS Logic DAW debate.

there are more Toyota Camrys than Lexus ES350s on the road but why get mad at Lexus for sellin the SAME car for PREMIUM! 8)

why not just accept my apology and "troll" a MAC VS PC site? you'd fit rite in.

because I wasn't comparing mac to pc... i was saying that 90% of computer users can not use logic so it will not be a nail in any coffin.

and what exactly did just blaze do for the akai community? the 5k is still garbage... why not ask him if he still uses it?

as for protools vs logic, well that is a different story.

^i saw that post a while ago, but he was barely gettong ideas. Looks like he's on his way to something.
Would be dope once he's done and you can control everything from the controller
