Maschine has been around longer than the Ren. They're already up to version 2.0 of their software, and they have 3 different models of the hardware. Everyone knew, or at least should have assumed that it would take a while to catch up to a product that was already a few years ahead in development. Maybe there is more in store for the Ren. It would really be a shame if there wasn't because competition among manufacturers is a good thing for consumers.

Except for 1.6... I'm on Snow Leopard, so no more updates for me till I update my OS...
