The New Maschine Studio: NI just BODIED the Renaissance.....

i think that is just a little bit of video lag, i think he chose the delay but the video didnt catch up until after, i dont see how it would be moving on its own.

Still looks like the users of the smaller Maschine units are going to have to adjust to using the mouse and computer screen as their norm.

NI should have put more thought into the design of the mkII in regard to where they were headed with the software.
Many budget conscience buyers went with the Mikro then realized it was less effective compared to the full Maschine.
We shall see a similar transition again with people adding v2 then realizing they can't get the level of hardware control they desire so they go with the Studio.

A lot of people who are saying they don't want to go with the Studio will still end doing so in the long run or treat v2 more like a typical software program.

the whole business model for controllers is geared towards upgrading the controller...you will see the same happen with the REN

Maschine and MPC Software are the only 2 devices of their kind so you are basing this on your opinion nothing more.
They are not controllers they are software solutions with dedicated hardware.

Their growth is in the application with hardware changes being made to allow for better use of the improvements in the software.

There is no step back concerning using the hardware on the Mk2 and Mk1. If anything this has been enhanced. The Studio offers more and better control but there is no more mouse use in 2.0 for the older controllers compared to 1.8

its a shame your knowledge is lacking when it comes to controllers with dedicated software



these companies make profit by selling units....with each new version you will have extra features not available in previous models.....

Traktor is not the same type of production tool by any means I have the S2 and X1 combo for playing out so I know them well.

Spark is/was pretty much a failed product with little bit market share it achieved.

Also remember putting a smiley on a dumb@ss statement makes you a clown it doesn't make it funny.

I never said Traktor was a produuction tool....i posted a link from NATIVE INSTRUMENTs who also refer to maschine as a CONTROLLER.....but apparently you know better than NI and all the other companies on the web
