Nice, a new controller coming soon  more options won't hurt.

All this hype is dumb. They're going to keep us on the edge of our seats for something we're all going to end up hating. UNLESS they do some major changes to the software, I could care less what they do at NAMM.

Looks just like the AKAI announcement pic. Hmmmm. I see a collabo coming thru with MAUDIO and AKAI. This is going to be like Toyota/Subaru collabo and their latest car. MAUDIO/AVID/AKAI collabo for a Protools powered MPC with two digital turntables. Yessssssssssss. lol.

Its a keyboard like the MAX 49 but it will work with the MPC software...So you will have pads and keys to work with all in one unit....I don't know what they are going to call it...MPC Key? .... Im loving the LED colors they went with for this hardware!

All of those brand are in the same house like Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus. So damn cheap they just used the same type of marketing scheme...SMH! Lazy scmucks!!!

Avid sold M-Audio and AIR to inMusic, they are in the same group as NuMark/Akai now...NuM-Audio.

Just popping in for a comment or two. Been busy....

I have no concrete information of what the big announcement is. I can only speculate and tell you what I would like to see:
1. Details about the future of the MPC Software as in 2.0
2. An improved MPC Ren hardware controller
3. A new flagship hardware MPC

Now I read the comments about that state of Akai and what the competition is doing. I really find it amusing. I say this because it is obvious that folks haven't used both products. NI has not lapped Akai by any stretch of the imagination. Maschine Studio hardware has nice colored LCDs, a meter section, and buttons to select external inputs. That is pretty much it. The MPC Ren, IMO, is still a better overall controller.

Maschine 2.0 software is pretty much like the hardware. It looks prettier. When you start looking at what NI added (other that prettier graphics)...it is features that the MPC Software and/or other MPCs already have. The work flow is still the same.

As an MPC users...I would reach for MPC Ren over the MPC Studio....excuse me...Maschine Studio any day. lol
