Its a piece of shit. It will probably burn houses down with its transformer dilema.

No sound because even they know its shit.

SHHH!!! Don't tell of our EMU secret weapon... Let them chase that dragon...

Mr Varsity wrote:Command Station's could have easily gave MPC's some serious competition if EMU would have added more tracks and a sample.

THIS!
+1

Damn shame EMU went belly-up....SMH!

Couldn't you author your own sample ROMs for the Command Stations, using a Emulator rack sampler, or something like that?

peace

damn, AKAI have a bad influence on me. I'm feeling like morphing to a little hater

What is it with Dan coming out with bullshit when put on the spot in these vids.

Still no Rhythm Wolf sound demos, which he said he was going to post when he got back from Messe.

Reminds me of him saying MPC5000 OS 3 would still happen, when put on the spot about it in that other vid.

Does he have a nervous tick when he lies, where he rubs his nose?

This is that sneaky marketing Akai did with the Ren. They relied on the MPC name so clients will just buy blindly. Because its an MPC. Same here, this will be sold in stores before anyone hears anything and sheeps buy it because its **gasp** analogue and because it says Akai on the box.

You want an analogue drum/synth machine with 16 step sequencer?

MONOTRIBE!!!

Hey, it might sound good. But there seems to be a shift by these big brands to start selling cheap hardware to kids who grew up with Fruity Loops but know their idols use(d) 'hardware'. It's about tapping into that rather than making great gear. The Korg Volca range sounds like nothing special but it's cheap enough for the kids.

I'm sure that's the whole idea. But even though these machines are built in cheap plastic cases, they really sound nice when used together and tweaked proper. The more I use them, the more flexibility I find in them. Hopefully the Rhythm Wolf will be as much fun to use with the Volcas. I've had more fun with them than I have with more expensive analog hardware.

All I know Dan claims this to be "5 years in the making" and they couldn't set it up on presentation day. That there says a lot.

 No point looking all over the web, they simply don't exist.

Who knows why Dan's statement that he would have them up the next week, when he got back from Messe, turned into a lie, whether it was bullshit from the start, and it actually didn't make any sound at the time, or whether something happened, such as a change in design, or marketing plans, that meant they haven't put them up yet.

I am sure when they do post them, they will mention it via their Twitter and Facebook marketing spam, so we will know about it straight away from someone that follows that.
