Even if/when it drops and it's a good piece of kit, I can never forget the dreadful manner in which they went about promoting this. Not even taking other product releases in to account!

I can't say anything about the price because we haven't really been given a good example yet, but c'mon son... why announce the product, demo the product, give sellers the starting price, but not have any sounds to show us!!

Unfortunately we've all seen Nukai's corporate strategy of just chasing trends. They're jumping on the retro analog trend after those korg's and like they did with the "vintage mode" button on their "me too" maschine.

It might be alright for a piece of cheapy equipment,
we've all seen equipment that becomes classic because of its limitations.


At least it doesn't have an ipod dock on it.

Damn... I had a feeling we wouldn't see (or hear) anything all summer. I still hope they release it in the fall.

I was giving them them benefit of the doubt as basic analog drum circuits and noise generators aren't the hardest thing in the world to pull off. Figured they'd at least get in the ballpark of the Korg Volca drum unit in terms of sound.

Synth sounds are pretty generic but Dan should let a more seasoned producer make some stuff. Because Dan is... Dan. . .

The drums sound way too generic. I have a few DIY kits that sound much better. The synth sounds like it wants to be a TB-303. But it don't come close. I'm not sure if the Rhythm Wolf can actually sound better than the examples provided. I hope it does. But I'm not getting my hopes up anymore. My 2 Volcas and my x0xb0x sound a helluva lot better. One thing I DO like about the Rhythm Wolf is the MIDI OUT. That would be ideal for my analog setup. But not if it sounds like something from a DIY kit found in a Radio Shack electronics book.
