I have this peavey dpm sp rack(sample playback synthesizer) that I'm really loving. It has some really great features but what would be even better is if I could install an internal zip drive, there's really no reason to use the floppy drive, the operating system loads from an eprom.

Does anyone know if this is possible? There is a DB25F scsi port on the back for external storage, and I took a picture of what the floppy drive cable comes out to:

I also have a piece that would connect DB25F to IDC50M, I was hoping that might help. There is plenty of space around the floppy drive so I think I can even manage to fit another PCB if necessary.

Thanks for any help!
