I have a couple of S950's and one of them says BAD ICL1 when I do the RAM check.

I have some pieces of RAM for replacement but I'm having trouble finding any info about this issue and, as you can see from the image, the S950 RAM board is not the same as the S900, so the S900 service manual isn't helping me.

I was just wondering if anyone made any progress on diagnosing this problem?

Yes.
It indicates that no RAM expansion is installed in either Lower (ICL1) or Higher (ICH1) slots.

I just received my S950. I also received the icl1 error when testing the ram. Does icl1 mean that the memory expansion is not installed?When I turn on the machine, it shows only 512K of memory.
