Just brought an EPS 16 plus ... couple of questions

I have the waveboy image files that someone has sent me, is it possible to play a usb floppy drive and make the discs like that?.

I have a scsi port too, however, I was thinking as well if its possible to actually have the os on the zip drive and also tons of samples as well alongside the waveboy fx?

not sure if this helps but on the asr you can have the OS on an external disk but you need to use the internal floppy drive to put the OS onto it

congrats man, I just bought an eps16 plus track with maxed ram and I have a asr10 keys being delivered Sunday. Haven't had alot of time to mess with it yet

I just order an EPS16 RACK. I'm hype, but I can't find the owner manual anywhere. Perhaps the regular EPS16 manual is sufficient for the rack version?

I can sample and assign it to a root key. So for example the lowest white key which will play the original sample in the correct pitch, with the rest playing at an increased pitch. However, can anyone explain how to copy the sample which is on the lower key so that I can spread it across the keyboard at the correct pitch and then adjust using the start and end which I can do.

I know cmd wave is copy wave sample but when ever I do that its creates wavesample and a number?.

I may as well break it into steps because it probably be easier to understand if you can help.

1.I can sample and assign to a root key, the rest of the keys on the keyboard play the sample at different pitches.

2.The root key I set, I changed the start points.

3.Problem is the copy wavesample, I don't understand why its not working. What I wish to do is copy the sample at the root key and change the start points however, I'm not sure why its not copy the wavesample?. The rest of they keys are still playing at different pitches.

With regards to the sampling question, I sampled a 4 sec funk break however, while I can set the root key to play with adjust the start point. I'm not sure how I can copy thatchunk and from that key to the next key.

I tried edit pitch but it shifts the loop down or up depending on the key. Ideally what I'm trying to do is slice the sample across all the keys. Hope that makes sense,

working morning shift at the ward tomorrow, won't be back until much later during the evening

It'll still be there when you get home.

say you have your root key as C1, make the start and end key C1 also

now copy the wavesample and assign the root key too D1

if you have your first sample going across all the keys you won't be able to hear any other samples you copy
