I just got an Ensoniq Mirage. One thing I would really like to know is how do I use the low pass filter on a sound I have recorded in? Like a bass sound. I have tried param 36 and changed the value but It dose not seem to do anything. A nice detailed explanation would be awesome. Or maybe a video? As I have not found anything on this particular question. Also any other tricks or tips are welcome.

Thanx in advance! lelandchapman1

Although I can't remember exactly how to get the LPF setup (have you tweaked cutoff and resonance?) I can remember that setting the resonance to velocity (can't do this with cutoff sadly) resulted in some sweet 8-bit acid crunch goodness when used on short, blippy synth sounds....touch of delay and it's beautiful 8)

Really great sounding samplers these - I'd have another one in a heartbeat if i had the space
