Looking for something that behaves similar to the way Live, Maschine, or to a lesser degree the MPC Ren allows this. I have taken a look at SliceX, and the way it slices seems like what I would be basically looking for, but from what I can tell, but it doesn't allow you to assign start/end markers / controls, to MIDI cc knobs.
Bottom line what im looking for:
VST sample player that allows you to map regions of a sample to keys on a midi controller. Start and End markers can be mapped to a midi cc knob, for mouseless editing. Sample regions should be editiable for each midi key (so basically non-destructive slicing)
What VST sample player does this? Or can SliceX or Battery do both thse things? Would like at few to take a look at, if they exisit.[*]
