S-1000 non-responsive/stuck

Hello
I just recently bought a s1000 and noticed that it sometimes gets stuck during operation. Once while editing a sample and last night when i tried to format a floppy. I end up hard resetting the machine and losing my work this way.

The os is 4.3 btw.
Is this something known or does someone know why this happens?

Everything seems to work normal now, after days on working with the machine!

its fairly common that newly acquired equipment does strange things,

i crashed my mpc500 about three times the day i got it by randomly pressing buttons to see what happened, as soon as i had a clue how it was supposed to work, it started behaving itself. now i can't even get it to crash if i try.

there are surely button combinations that the developers at akai never tried, that could cause the sampler to lock up. and you'll probably never find them again!
