Hey all. A friend and I were jamming around with my new s950 last night and my friend knocked the power cable. The unit went dead and after we restated the power cable the lights flickered for a sec and then nothing. I assumed a fuse must have been blown. The power cable is fused so I assume it'd be the first thing to blow? Please correct me if I'm wrong. I've only had a couple hours with this beast, I need it to work!

You say the power cable has a fuse built in? Can you get hold of another power cable?

Otherwise, if you are feeling confident enough, open up the 950 and search for a broken fuse (pretty easy to spot... google an image of "broken fuse"), they are small glass things with a small wire inside, if it's broken, the wire is not intact anymore.

Take out the broken fuse when you found it, take it to an electronics store and tell them you need a replacement with the same specs.

Good luck.
