a new sampler/workstation, now the new boutiques... my guess is roland is going to kill akai next year.

I wonder if they'll be showing them at NAMM. Can't wait to see how these turn out.

Actually, it does NOT say that the TR-909, TR-808 and TB-303 boutiques are coming. No decisions have been made (yet). This is what Tojo said:

Expectations for the release of the TR-808, TR-909, and TB-303 as the second edition of Roland Boutique is likely to be great too.

Tojo: Yes, I think so too. I think we will be getting a lot of feedback after this release, so we'd like to listen to what our customers have to say and decide on what to do next.

honestly... who gives a **** if they make another **** tr-808 and 909....... they are never going to do it right and make a real pair of them anyways... it will always be pcm or VA. korg will make a hardware TR-B0B before that happens... the 303 is kind of cool, but let's be honest.... none of the young cats of today are going to be programming acid bass on anything that is programmed like a 303 was... they would need to change that, and that is where it's going be a new instrument and not a 303 re-issue.

Yeah I still got hope for an MV or something similar.

Who cares??? They already released the TR-8 with little success. I wouldn't want the Juno or Jupiter boutiques anyways. The Juno 106 was one of my favorite synths of all time but I don't want some virtual analog version that has no grit or analog feel. Most companies are going to back to a full analog path and when Roland does this then we can talk!

Ill take my ren any day over and MV. Lets face it we all love the MPC for the classic feel and swing. Nothing is ever going to come close. No amount of groove templates or emulations is going to change that.

Why should they do that? they already have the tr8 out which emulates the 909 & 808 pretty good..

Not really confirmed in the interview! Itll be cool if new boutiques came of other models. Im more into the new sampler thats coming out. Im sick of all these companies redoing all there older equipment. You can incorporate the older stuff into newer models and things that havent been done before

They are redoing there models because people like it. We can see it in the vitual simulations. But I don't know why they are redoing the TR-909, TR-808, TB-303 when the TR-8 can do the same and more.

I like seeing all the classic Roland gear being put to good use.
