Roland MV-8000...discontinued???

Forum for all other samplers & synths such as Maschine, MVs, Akai S & Z series, Roland, Korg, OP-1, analog synths etc.

does anyone have the factory sounds that came with the MV 8000? if so can you upload them?

The sounds in the MV come in patch format. If they were just wavs I would upload them, but it takes a bit more effort to seperate each patch into individual wavs

The MV was an excellent attempt to replicate the MPC. Just like all Roland products, it will most likely be replaced with another product. I actully look forward to an updated new version of the MV. I will buy one (just like I purchased an MV-8000)

But I will always be an MPC user. There hasn't been a product that has been released that will make me want to replace my MPCs.


But why are all these MV threads starting to pop up here? Roland is working overtime marketing as of late....mayeb there is truth to the MV being discontinued...who knows. But does it really matter? My MPC 3000 has been discontinued for years...
