I watched the video on Youtube called 'The Making of the MPC renaissance'.
In this professional video from Akai Pro they show behind the scenes footage of all kind of producers that were involved in the creation of the Ren, the Studio and ofcourse the MPC Fly and Impc.

I can't and will not judge about the Ren and the studio as i have no experience with them other than that they sure are beautifull to look at

However, how can you believe this video and take it serious if you have spend some time with the Crappy Impc app and that stillborn MPC FLY ?
How can they say with a straight face that any of that S*** is actually any good ?
It clearly shows that they are paid to be enthousiastic and find it 'dope' and they use it on the plane to make ill beats .....

Yeah right ......

It's harder to believe as i haven't seen a single person that really liked Impc since they all like the concept but they say it has too many shortcomings and restrictions and there is NO support whatsoever.
Beatmaker 2 runs laps around Impc ....
Same goes to the MPC fly that is pretty dissapointing all around and only really usefull to Impc so the restrictions and frustration gets enhanced even further.

Note how they disabled the comments section on the Akai Pro video's.

For those who wanna laugh at some slapstick comedy:

I do think the MPC was a great concept if it were only of decent quality and actually was midi compatible.
I mean, even with that failure Impc the Fly could be worth it (with current discounts) if it was of decent quality and would hook up to for instance Beatmaker 2 without any problems.

It really is made ONLY for Impc, so in order to justify the initial market price that app had to be REALLY REALLY GOOD ... And it wasn't, far from it. Even now with a little desktop update is still isn't good and looks completely abandoned.

Makes you wonder, what's the use and value of the Fly now ?
