Discuss Akai's iOS apps iMPC & iMPC Pro

Mind you, the Quneo is far from cheap, especially compared to the dump prices for a new MPC Fly or Element.
You could get lucky on Ebay or Craigslist but the real bargains on Ebay are becoming rare these days with sniper bidding and insane shipping price scams.

No sir, i don't see people copping an Quneo for less than $100 easily whenever they want.
The Akai products are indeed limited but the fly does allow the ipad to travel easier (eventhough heavy) and protects the Ipad, no extra usb cable and most of all its a great Ipad stand whenever using it for other things like watching movies or whatever.
Making a beat in a vehicle, train or airplane simply doesn't work with a lose controller, cable and the Ipad. It's too cumbersome.
At home it doesn't really matter much as there are tons of devices with midi that you could use to trigger BM2. Devices that are cheaper and more versatile than Quneo.

As stated before, the Fly pads are okay. They are not great but the pads on my MPC4000 are not great either compared to my Maschine.
In other words, good is very relative, it all depens on your reference of great.
I find the Fly good to trigger those pads, especially for the prices they now sell them for <$100.

Maybe one day a better version of Impc comes out and the FLY could shine a little more. But we all know the answer to that.
Oh well, just wishfull thinking.

What about compared to the MPC Element?

yo, why u trying to **** with AKAI?? they don't give a **** about you, just want ur money… the element is recycled parts from the fly.. man, i would grab that queneo if i was you, or u could get a used lpd8 off craigslist, or ebay, ****, even new they are like 40-50 bucks and the pads are nice on them, I've got one.. queneo is built well, by good peeps, **** akai…**** the element, don't buy into that **** man….

Thanks for your input as well. Im going to look into trying out the Queneo in person and the LPD 8 though I want more than just 8 pads but I will look into both of those recommendations.
