You can't even do folders. I can't even entertain the idea of scrolling a list of singles on a 64GB iPad.

I just look at my XL and find it ridiculous that the only thing this app has over a 15 year machine is it can load more samples in RAM. (The apps GUI is only an XL in art design. It's an adaptation of the MPC 1000 OS, which is even more ridiculous as they were not limited as far as all the app is missing, i.e pad cutoff, pad panning, start and end points, folders, etc.)

The Gridlok sampler on the Tabletop is dope as hell, but anyone know how to change the length? Making 2-bar loops is getting annoying

Add the Triggerator to the tabletop. You'll see how to add and/or delete bars.

I like how it works.

You can't do differemt time signatures, unfortunately.

1. doubling parts in trigger window
2. notelengh in piano roll
3.double sequenz set on same groove in pianorol
4.instrument button in trigger window

i would like to see :
tabletop has more proffesional contact to desktop daw or computer,,,
every instrument send midi out (selected midi chanells include)
and 8 channel audio mixdown for other daws

any one know of any ways to automate volume ?

just an update...still hooked on Tabletop and MPC app. been using the itunes file transfer to get samples between laptop and app.

would jailbreaking my ipad perhaps create a better way of managing samples/???

It would make file management easier and with more options. A page or two back coolderb mentions what application he used to jailbreak his iPad. He in another thread mentioned an app he uses called iFile that adds more "normal" folder/file management. I would guess in the case of iMPC needing iTunes/USB mounting to delete files, the jailbreak+file app would let you access those folders normally hidden from the user.

The sickest thing coolderb mentioned as far as jailbreak was he uses the Camera Kit to get a USB port and he can copy/move files with external HD's.
