Push-button scratch/transform videos on MPC 500

Hey all,

I did a couple of quick videos of the fake-scratch thing on my 500, have a nose if you're interested. I know it isn't real scratching and all that jazz, I own 1200+vestax (but they are in storage), I'm just having some fun on me new toy and a few peeps out there are trying this stuff, so thought I'd share it up.

Thanks for the feedback. Yup, it's a sample assigned to a pad, choose "note on" and set the fader/slider to "Tune" on that pad, enjoy! Inspired by "Pushing Buttons" (Shadow, Chemist, Numark) btw.

I tried scratching other samples besides the "ahh"... have you tried any other samples that is able to scratch?

i try this technique with a sample of kurt cobain(rip)
this is in the 500 beat section

Was playing around with some more samples, found a few that did, and didn't work.
Some are simply a reverse. Even the ones that don't work very well are fun! They all sound best over a beat.

Here's a program with 9 samples.. some might need to be normalized.
