Autosampler - how do I influence the mapping of notes to pad

I've been attempting to use Autosampler on my Mac to create a key group from the Trillian Bass plugin. Works well. However the note to pad assignments are ridiculous. The "A" bank of Pads range from C4 to Dsharp5.

The useable note range that I specified was E1 to E4. Whilst auto sampling, the sampling sounds preview at least 1, possibly 2 octaves below that. When the process is finished I get the pads assigned as I mentioned above.

Can anyone explain what I'm doing wrong? And is there anyway to remap the pads manually. I was hoping for Pad A01 to play an E1 etc etc

I'd try changing the settings on the content you are looking to autosampler... bump it up 2-3 semitones if it has the ability to tune.

You can also transpose from the midi track as well on the MPC...

The A bank in a keygroup program should start on C-2 (midi note 0). do you have PAD PERFORM turned on? This is the only reason I know of where a keygroup program will start on different notes in bank A.
