MPC2 Audio tracks not saved

I recently bought an MPC Live and am currently using it along with the MPC2 software to prepare a live set. I stumbled across this very annoying problem: every time I close the application audio files get removed from their audio tracks. Everything else is saved properly, but the audio samples are just gone from the audio tracks.

To make sure I wasn't going crazy I created an empty project with nothing in it except one audio track with a long sample. Saved it, closed the application, re-opened it... and the file was still there.

So now I am completely lost as to why in my live set project I keep losing the audio files.

What am I doing wrong.

I'm having the same problem. But it's really random... In some projects everything is fine, in others the audio files get removed from their audio tracks. The files are still available inside the project, but it's still very frustrating. I haven't found out any specific reason why it is happening sometimes, so if anybody knows, please share.
