THANKS FOR THE ADD. IM HAVING TROUBLE LOADING MY 1ST VST PLUGIN TO MPC 2.0 SOFTWARE FROM https://www.mpc-samples.com.. I GET AN ERROR WHEN I TRY TO LOAD WITHIN THE SOFTWARE PLUGIIN SECTION OR IF I DRAG AND DROP FROM THE DESK TOP. ERROR SAY " ERROR LOADING " FROM THE SAVED DESKTOP LOCATION. I responded via email, the only time I see that error is if you double click the XPN file from Mac/Windows file explorer/finder., it's a bug in the MPC Software. I've never seen this happen from dragging the XPN directly into the MPC Software grid and I cannot recreate it myself.

I've just tested and it's working fine for me in both Mac and PC.

BTW, this isn't a VST, it's an MPC expansion, the XPN file is the installer.

Perhaps the XPN or original zip file is corrupt, try re-downloading to see if this resolves.

Turns out the OP was dragging the XPN to the MPC Software app icon in his task bar, so the XPN was initially launching the MPC Software, which in turn caused the same 'problem with project' error/bug that you recieve when double clicking an XPN from file explorer/finder.

To install an expansion via an XPN, the MPC Software has to already be open and you must drag it into the grid. Alternatively, open the MPC file browser (keyboard 'F'') and load the XPN file directly from within that.
