So I didn't get any auto-detect that finds and installs my keyboard when I initially ran MPC Beats. So I tried to set it up through Preferences/ midi/sync. I an using a known good USB port, and the keyboard is illuminated, so has power. I cant get the keyboard to make any sound on any key. However, its not MPC beats....I think its working, as when I play any pad {a boom-bap plugin is loaded) using the mouse I hear the assigned patch. So the problem is with the Mini Plus editor app. Under controls, it was defaulted to channel 1 and pad 1. and I have ENABLED turned on. So I tried changing to ch 10 as this is for percussion I think, but still the keyboard is not working. THere is nothing more that I can see to configure the I/O. I am cclueless as to what is going on. I am new to midi. Any ideas?
