3.5 Beta and MPD218

Been messing with desktop and it's been a learning curve but for whatever reason my MPD 218 pads are suddenly messed up and don't play according to the diagram of the pads below. Still shows Pad 1 as a BD in the diagram but when played Pad 1 and 2 are swapped. Pad 3 also plays 7. Pad 4 opens a different section in MIDI Learn, its a mess. I had the factory/MPD218 selected from the midi learn menu, now under user there is a MPD218copy. Hit Undo a bunch of times no change. Reseting the program doesnt help.

I hadn't been messing around changing stuff at all. Just noticed my kick was now a clap. So frustrating because it was working just fine before.

Sounds like you are using 'classic mpc' midi layout on your MPD (37, 36, 42...), it needs to be 'chromatic C1' (36, 37, 38...)

We are also currently on MPC 3.7.1, have you tried that? 3.5 is significantly more buggy

Crap so I titled it wrong. Im on the latest 3.7.1
If your talking the DATA numbers on pads 1-4 then yes pad1=36, 2=37 ect. But right now 40, Pad4 will go to bank D. Even when I midi learn it to play the open hat on pad 4 it will play the sound on pad 4 AND go to bank D. Clicking the respective pads with a mouse on screen works as it should. My midi keyboard is playing the notes chromatically and I can trigger any sound as it should be.

The other stuff like Pad 1 and 2 being reversed I can midi learn it to what it should be but that bank D thing is killing me.

I got it sorted. There is a Prog Select button on the MPD it was the root of the issue.
