v1.7 bug reports

Pituchez half the stuff you talk about you can do.. you can put fx on individual pads, get off the forum and read the damn manual, or pull the trigger on mpc tutors guide already...

You can't put fx on tracks because tracks don't handle audio, they only handle the messages being sent to programs. The programs convert those messages to audio, which can then be further altered with fx (in the programs).

Hellfire has produced and posted a bunch of videos explaining all this, watch them....

is anyone else having problems copy pasting events from one track to another? this started happening in 1.7

Seriously, is there a way to go back to 1.6? This exporting problem basicly renders my Mpc useless. Since i cannot mix and master a song on the mpc. I am depending on Logic to do this

If I have a plugin screen opened (like kontakt) and try to opened the preferences menu on the mpc software my screen freezes. The mpc hardware seems to still function but nothing happens on the computer monitor. OSX 10.7.5

Sound Toys GUI not responding when I try to make changes. The changes are being made but, you cannot see the changes being made.

Example: I turn the dry/wet knob on FilterFreak you hear the change but, the knob stays in the same place. I close/minimize the GUI and bring it back up and the knob shows the new position. Does the same thing with all the sound toy effects.

I think Im goin to use the Ren as controller, back to cubase and as sampler my S950 im tired of these bugs and i want use my UAD2 without error exceptions!!! cheers

can't use my waves plug ins. everytime i scan new or rescan in Plugin Preferences the waveshell shows up as "crash" in the scan. is there a way to fix this?

but pissing me off that when i am recording live

if i have a bass/guitar or something plugged in and i also plug in my mic i have to unplug the bass first to use it and vice versa. would be cool to have the option to switch from inputs or something

OS: Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate
Upgrade path: 1.2 Install Disc > Update 1.6 > Update 1.7
Note: Install is licensed and officially updated via normal upgrade path (no hacks, etc.)

Issue:

Drag and drop to pad from external file browsers (Windows Explorer, Search Everything) is not working since 1.6 > 1.7 update. I used this feature to quickly create kits and programs previously.
Attempting to drag in drop on 1.7 creates the black "no smoking" symbol versus the pointer-plus icon.

As far as I know, issue is exclusive to Windows PCs, as Mac user have not reported it.

Anyone on Windows that can try it out and report their findings?
