I know this is kind of crazy at this time of the software, but I think it would be a great idea for akai to develop an ipad and/or android app that let us control some things like the one apple did for logic but with some functions of the software.
Or maybe other kind of invention but that let us interact with the software from a touch platform.
As said CRaZy!

In Program EDIT : - Ability to switch within the track from the hardware. To quickly tweak all the program in a project. Actually only the program are shown and it change the track program if switched. Embarrassing.

Yes this has been annoying me since 1.0 (Ifinally stopped dong it accidentally though) and I wished for the same, but then realized you may end up with the same problem in reverse...instead of accidentally switching the program for a track you end up accidentally tweaking parameters for a program on the wrong track messing up its sound because Prog Edit track selection was accidentally left on another track...one of those damned if you do damned if you don't kind of things.... hell why not, it's on the Prog Mix screen so it would be nice if it were consistent at least...

Now that the software is getting mature...would like to see small tweaks:

-global keyboard shortcuts for renaming track, seq, programs nad new plugins with the field highlighted on the hardware to indicate it is in edit mode

-browsing third party presets from the hardware . apparently this is possible as it is being done on the new trigger finger

-after a third party preset is selected, update the Pgm: field on the hardware with the name of the preset instead of just using the plugin name (gets confusing)

-pad copy that is actually an instance and not a pointer (i think someone mentioned this already, if so +111)

-i'd rather select plug-in presets by gong to the prg field in the hardare instead of the plg field as it would seem more intuitive since the Prog is where the sound resides in the MPC mixers. every time I go to use a plugin I slow down stumbling through preset selection because the current way just feels unintuitive to me.... the Prg window doesn't have much on it so why not make it a split screen with part of it showing the presets...

1. Explode Tracks/Pads Used To Multiple Programs

2. Busses / Aux and Grouping for mixing and saving CPU with less plug ins used.

3. Vintage Modes Vst Official release for v1.7.2 or higher

4. Flexible track order.

6. Last Open Unsaved prompt after a crash that pulls up the last session state before the crash.

7. Real time pitch shift and time stretch.

8. Save without stopping sequence (no glitching).

9. Freeze to a Pad (simpler than direct record/faster).

10. Ability to Rename Programs from the program channel (if anyone knows how to do this please demonstrate, thanks).

Humm... I'm sure that the Program settings are global and not track dependent.

I'd love to add :

11.Ability to Directly rename PAD in the program mixer or Tracks in the tracks mixer sections.

12.Automation/Envelope tool. Log/Exp/Lfo drawers. And Ability to delete a whole automation track.

13. On the midi Tracks, Arpeggiator and MidiCC LFO, with obviously direct monitoring from the Hardware's pads and from attached external controllers.

14. Ability to Route Sends. To another send or to a track. Allow to send a reverb signal in a delay, A delay in a distortion etc.... Or, ... why not, additional Fx Tracks with 4 inserts. ( It meet the Busses/Aux/Grouping request).

Better zoom in/out for midi note view; I think shift+<> is slow. Personally, I'd go for shift + jog wheel (I know this adjusts brightness at the moment, but that could well be in preferences)

Sometimes in sample edit mode the move the markers x1000 is not enough. For ex. when you load a whole song.

I would like to see some data input in the one in the midi editor like this in this video I made from Reason:

Sometimes the Song Mode is a little bit boring... conservative. It's amazing in a lot of occasions but... we should had a "Real Time Song Mode".
The Sudden is awesome because we can play a full MIDI sequence just hitting a Pad, like we usually do with samples.
I would love to build my Songs, inside the MPC but, improvising in the Next Sequence Mode.

2- Rearrange Tracks = essential!!!;

3- Ability to Delete/Erase Multiple tracks (in the Mixer and Main Screen);

4- Ability to convert drum program to keygroup;

5- Master Tempo;

I would like that sudden option keep the exact point of the play sequence to continue from that point. For instance, if i have a 4 bar sequence and i change to other sequence when i am on 3.2 the next sequence should start at 3.2.
If next sequence is 2 bar long it shoud start at 1.2 instead.
That would make jamming easier. Ableton push do this when moving from a sequence to the next by pressing the arrows on session mode.
